I feel bad for saying this but… in Ben 10 Alien force, Dr. Paradox said something so painfully true: "Time travel is for immortals and fools".

I just want to know why he had the gun there in the first place? He told the dog “just in case something goes terribly wrong”, but what could go wrong here that a gun would solve???

Why would he shoot himself? That makes zero sense. But more sense than using a printer (with an ancient analog port) and a stereo receiver and EQ as a time machine.

The loop occured when he was shot and killed, but this also means that the version of him with the gun could have never existed to shoot his prior self in the first place. So...where did the version with the gun come from in the first place? He shouldnt exist at all.
